I knew Rob since college, where I knew he was a fan of SF. After law school he settled in Minneapolis with his wife, and they started showing up to Minn-StF. He also worked on many local conventions, often as hotel liaison and also as a legal consultant.

He had some of the only photos I’ve seen from behind-the-scenes on the War for the Oaks movie project–—I for example was too busy as assistant camera operator to also take my usual still photos, except that one day.

His wife kindly collected those photos (and some other WFTO items) and donated them to the archives.
