There is no such thing.

Well; there is not and has not been anything officially called that.

It’s a nickname we bestowed on the Radisson South hotel, later the Sheraton South, then the Doubletree—where we held Minicon from 1985 to 2017 (except for a gap from 1999-2004). Partly because we couldn’t keep track of what the proper name was especially for times beyond a day or two in the past.

In the early days, the embroidered stick-on Radisson logo that we were issued for “important” people’s badges (trouble-shooters, a few department heads, and the exec or chair) was called a “radish”, at least by us, and that may have influenced the evolution of the nickname.
